ATam is a popular style of hat worn by many people, especially those with dreads. In San Diego, there are quite a few people with dreads and a hat like this is big enough to usually accomadate lots of hair. This pattern can be worn by anyone, and while the yarn is 100% acrylic, with the crossed doublecrochet pattern the hat is both breathable and will keep your head warm on those cooler nights. This pattern also comes with an optional drawstring for those who want a tighter fit.
