This beanie is made with Red Heart soft and comes out perfectly slouchy. It is a long beanie but could be easily adjusted for those who prefer less slouch, just take away rounds.
The time to complete this beanie will depend on your level expertise. You should be able to complete within 3-4 hours. This beanie is easily adjustable, but as written should fit 20-22 inch head.

Looks perfect, I've been trying many beanies, but never got the effect (or look) I was looking for.....I will try this one.ReplyDelete
Thank you and enjoy! :)Delete
So by easily adjustable, does that mean by easily stretch to fit or do you have to add more stitches to the row?ReplyDelete
By easily adjustable you can use a different hook size, or change the number of repeats to make a smaller or larger hat. Really up to you and how comfortable you are with changing things in patterns to fit your needs. :)
Love this hat, great patternReplyDelete
Thank you! Enjoy!Delete
Just finished my hat and I love it. Thank you!ReplyDelete
Thank you for trying! Totally glad you liked it!Delete
Easy peasy . I used a 5.5 mm hook for the body. Added an increase row. Followed pattern using 5.5 mm hook for first row of ribbing. Then changed to 4.5 mm hook to make ribbing a little snugger! LOVE it! Thanks for sharingReplyDelete

Thank you for this pattern. It looks like it will be a beautiful hat and is something I can make! I do have a question: how different will the hat look if I use chunky yarn and a L hook?ReplyDelete
