This simple pattern is not only easy, but fun to put together. I used 6 skeins of a color combo that was inspired by Design Seeds, which were basically apples in a basket. The site has wonderful color combos that should inspire greatness.
This pattern in made with DK Stylecraft premium yarn, but a sport weight could be a nice equivalent for those who don’t have this yarn. It is a UK product however there is a lovely U.S. seller who sells the yarn and she is super-fast with the shipping!
A note about the yarn used. Don’t let the fact that the yarn is thin fool you. Not only is it ridiculously soft, but it is amazingly warm. This is a perfect addition to any wardrobe. I only used a small amount for each row so you will still a lot of yarn left over for other projects.
This hat should take between 6-8 hours to complete depending on your skill level.
Pattern is written in US crochet terms. This pattern gives you PERMISSION TO SELL your finished items. It is appreciated if you credit the design to Acquanetta Ferguson and to list the pattern link.
